Rental Process
Please follow the next step in the rental process.
View the property from the roadside only
Now that you have found a suitable property online you should go and take a look at the property from the roadside. (Please respect the current tenants by not entering onto any property).
Viewing the property from the road will allow you to
- See if the area meets your requirements
- Determine if the amenities you need are a suitable distance from the property i.e. schools, stores, work.
- Evaluate the neighbourhood.
Once you have completed your property drive by and are satisfied that the property and area are for you, please contact us via phone at +64 3 548 3440 or by using
the enquiry form on the next page.
To make a Tenancy Application
- Complete the Tenancy Application Form - (Click here to view and print the PDF of this document)
- Provide either copies of written references or contact names and phone numbers
- Provide a copy of an acceptable form of Identification
- Your application will be assessed by the property manager and then presented to the Landlord for a decision
- You will subsequently be advised if your application is successful or not
- All properties are rented on an Application basis – not “first in first served”.
- Unfortunately not all applications are successful, but this does not mean your application will not be successful for an alternative property.
Successful Application and completing the paperwork
- An appointment will be made for you to complete & sign the tenancy agreement
- If you do not live in Nelson, this can be done by facsimile or email
- At this time payment will be required
