Our Service Standards and Guarantee

Haven Rentals are confident that our outstanding service is unmatched by competitors.

  • Haven Rentals will erect a ‘For Rent’ sign on your property within two working days of listing (if signs are permitted) and we consider it appropriate.
  • Your property will be placed on the Haven Rentals websites and a rental list is available from our Haven Rentals office and displayed in Haven Rentals office window.
  • Haven Rentals will conduct an unlimited number of viewings of your property until a suitable tenant is found.
  • You will be updated on the status of your available property at least weekly and Haven Rentals will advise you in writing once your property is tenanted.
  • All information and references provided by tenancy applicants will be verified by Haven Rentals within three working days of receipt of application.
  • Subject to the tenancy commencement date and the tenants availability, Haven Rentals will prepare the tenancy documentation within two working days of approval.
  • Zero tolerance rent arrears policy.
  • All repair requests from tenants will be attended to in accordance with the Landlords instructions promptly.
  • Your property manager will inspect your property quarterly and no less than 3 times a year, providing you with a written report.
  • Haven Rentals will review the tenancy agreement for your property six weeks prior to expiry (if on fixed term agreement)
  • On receipt of a vacating notice Haven Rentals will advise you in writing.
  • After a tenant has vacated Haven Rentals will conduct a final inspection to ensure your property is left in a “Reasonably clean and tidy condition”. Haven Rentals will complete vacating documentation.
  • Your rent statement will be personally checked by your property manager and sent to you within one working day of our monthly close off date, either by email or post.
  • Tenants complaints received in writing will be acknowledged within one working day.
  • All complaints will be formally recorded and responded to within two working days.
  • Haven Rentals will ensure that all documentation is accurate and complete.
  • All personal information will be held in the strictest confidence.
  • All updates and corrections advised to Haven Rentals will be recorded in our system within one working day.
  • The highest standards of honesty, integrity and professional practice will be conducted in compliance with the Code of Ethics of the Real Estate Institute of New Zealand.
